On Thursday 9th July 26, our under 10 Blues took part in a sponsored walk to Rivington Pike on a sweltering summer evening. The walk was eventful, with two of the team insisting on taking a 10 foot log along for the ride. Once at the top, of course there were hill rolls having taken in the stunning views of the surrounding areas. The team managed to raise a hefty sum which can now be used to purchase training equipment and anything else they may need. Well done to Danny, Glyn

Following the extensive work over the summer on the pitches, they re-opened at the start of July. It has taken a number of hours cutting since the work was completed in order to get them to a good length without leaving too many grass cuttings on the surface. Although not yet completely free of cut grass in places, we feel that they are now ready to be lined. With training in full flow and summer friendlies starting, the lining was completed this morning by two lining robots
