As everyone at the club is aware, the work at Bankes Avenue began at the end of May and we are now beginning to see the fruits of that labour. The pitches received their first long cut following the works and they are looking fantastic. They will hopefully get another shorter cut this coming weekend. The goal mouths that have had extra work done on them still need a little longer to allow the seed to fully grow, but hopefully the pitches wont be shut for too much longer. A ma

Saturday 6th June 2026 sees our annual Club Presentation take place at the Brick Community Stadium, Wigan. What a day for Wigan Junior Latics (WJL) U13 Reds as they were crowned Wigan & District Youth League Knock Out Cup winners after an unforgettable final against Cherrybrook Rangers at Hindley Juniors Fc last Sunday! Our under 15's Yellows took on Standish Panthers Juniors Raptors in the U15 Wigan and District Youth League Knock Out Cup Final, held at Hindley Juniors Football Club on Sunday 10th May 2026. Our Under 9 Yellows took on a strong FC Britannia Blues in the Wigan and District Youth Football League Under 9 Knock Out Cup Final on Sunday 10th May 2026 at William Fosters, Ince. In a tough game, our Yellows came up a little short in a 3-1 defeat. Well done to FC Britannia. Nevertheless, the lads enjoyed an amazing experience and we know they will come back stronger. Our under 15's Yellows overcame Ladybridge Lightning in their Wigan and District Youth League semi-final, storming to a 7-1 victory. They now take on Standish Panthers Raptors in the final on Sunday 10th May 2026 at Hindley Juniors. Get down and support the lads if you can.

Our under 13's Reds took on Atherton Town Vipers in a closely fought Wigan and District Youth League semi-final at Atherton. Reds took an early lead but were soon pegged back to 1-1. The tie seemed destined for penalties until a wcked cross from the right was turned into their own goal by Atherton Town. Our under 10's Sapphire ladies took on a strong Pennington Panthers team in their Wigan and District Youth League Semi-Final. The girls started strong and took an early lead through a Rose free kick.
